Posh Bingo has announced the name of their Posh Party winner. The online bingo site had recently hosted a special promotion in celebration of their first birthday and was giving away a special birthday party to the value of £2,000. 

The Posh Party bingo game was held on 2nd May at 9:45pm the first person to win the Noisemaker pattern would get to win the special party. There were 1TG and 2TG prizes too of £150 and £50 respectively, which would be shared out. The winner of the Posh Party promotion was Stephen Hardstaff who is also known to his bingo buddies as Elvis7749.

Leanne from Posh Bingo spoke to the 38 year old Fife based online bingo player who had declined the offer of the special party which was to be organised by the bingo site, right from choosing a venue to arranging for food and drinks. Instead, Elvis7749 choose the cash equivalent of the prize, which was £2000.

Elvis7749 has been a player at Posh Bingo now for the past six months, having registered at the site in December 2009. He came across the site one day when he was surfing the internet and the name ‘Posh’ stood out and on a whim, he decided to resister at the site. Lucky for him that he did!

When asked by Posh Bingo about his win and how he felt about it, he said he “was extremely happy. I had a smile on my face all day. Its not very often I win anything like that!” The bingo player was at home when he received a call on his answering machine from the bingo site. 

Upon hearing the stunning news of his win, he promptly informed his daughter Gail who, at first, had trouble believing that her father had won such a fabulous amount of money with a simple game of bingo. “My daughter was the first person I told and she thought I was joking but eventually she believed me,” he said.

Elvis7749 is an ardent bingo player and visits Posh Bingo regularly. Whilst he has no specific preference for any bingo rooms, he usually opts for the cheaper bingo games, his favourites being the 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p tickets. Lucky for him, he decided to splash out £1 for the Posh Party bingo game as it ended up awarding him with a £2000 prize.

The winner celebrated his win with his daughter, who he completely adores, and plans on spending a good part of his bingo win on. Whilst he does plan on saving some part of winning, he plans on spoiling his daughter silly for her birthday, which is coming up soon. 

According to him, his daughter is very fond of expensive jewellery so he has always made it a point to buy her something nice from Tiffany for her birthdays as well as for Christmas. This year, he will use his bingo win to get something bigger from the jewellery store for his daughter.
